Background

The Eastside Business Assistance Center (EBAC) is operated by Barrio Planners, Inc. and funded by the City of Los Angeles, Community Development Department (CDD). EBAC was established on August 15, 1996 with the primary responsibility of providing managerial and technical assistance to businesses located in the East / Northeast Los Angeles area.

In November of 2000, EBAC was selected by the City of Los Angeles as a service provider for the Los Angeles Business Assistance Program (LABAP). In order to foster the establishment and expansion of local small businesses, EBAC is currently operating the following two programs under LABAP: ETP (Entrepreneur Training Program) and MTP (Microenterprise Training Program).

Our current contract allows us to serve Los Angeles City Residents and businesses ONLY. To see if you qualify for our program as an L.A. City resident / business, please click on the following link, www.lacity.org, and enter your address. If your address comes up, then you qualify for our program.
